About
I have a passion for knowledge, people, learning, communities and societies. I am the manager of the Knowledge Commons at the CSIR. It is a new facility that is established at the CSIR to nurture and develop research and science dialogue. It is a space to foster and allow for contactivity and minds to meet. Our current focus areas include -
* hosting of regular knowledge sharing events;
* embarking on an initiative to introduce the practice of social reporting, and also to explore how this experience could contribute to the nurturing of digital literacies of researchers;
* studying social learning, and identify a pilot to introduce and shape social learning in the organisation;
* planning for launch of a Community and Network Weaving Forum.
But first and foremost I am a reflective knowledge worker. And I love conversations that builds knowledge…
You will also notice that quite a number of my earlier blog posts are referring to the Scrum Project Management framework – this is the focus of my legacy of my previous professional endeavour as an IT Project Manager.
The postings on this site are my own and do not necessarily represent the CSIR’s positions, strategies or opinions.
